Fremont Evangelical Free Church is solidly rooted in the belief that the Bible is God’s inerrant and authoritative Word. We believe that God’s Word is the final authority in matters of doctrine and practice. Throughout our existence, we believe it has been the Lord’s work.  Whatever has been accomplished, to Him be the glory. ‘Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Cor. 10:31).

We are a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), a denomination that holds to the fundamental truths of historical, orthodox Christianity.  While the Statement of Faith of the EFCA serves as the foundation for our beliefs, there is a wide range of understanding within member churches concerning certain beliefs and practices.  Read more about our distinct teaching positions by clicking the button.

Starting out of a Bible study group, the Fremont Evangelical Free Church was formed in 1970 with nine charter members.  In 1971, the young congregation purchased an existing church building at 20th & Lincoln, which continues to be our present location.
